portobello mushrooms, stems removed

2tablespoons

olive oil

½cup

marinara sauce, prepared

1teaspoon

dried oregano

1teaspoon

red pepper flakes

Italian Sausage crumbled

1cup

vegan mozzarella, shredded

12leaves

fresh basil, torn or cut into ribbons

  1. Preheat oven to 375℉.

  2. In a lightly-oiled baking sheet,

    place portobello mushrooms with underside facing up. Rub all over with olive oil and bake until softened (20 mins).

  3. Top portobello mushrooms with everything but fresh basil. Bake until vegan mozzarella is melted and browned (15 mins).

  4. To serve, top with fresh basil.
