day old brown rice, cooked

vegetable oil

onion, diced

garlic, minced

seasoned rice vinegar

soy sauce

sea salt

green onions, thinly sliced

broccoli florets

aromatic herbs of choice

  1. In a bowl, add a little water to the day old brown rice and leave aside.

  2. In a heated wok, heat the vegetable oil. Sauté the onion until translucent. Add garlic and constantly stir to prevent burning.

  3. Once fragrant, combine vegetables, protein of choice and rice. You can use a combination of vegetables or plant protein.

  4. Pour the seasoned rice vinegar and soy sauce. Adjust seasonings with sea salt and pepper.

  5. Transfer from heat and combine the rice mixture with green onions and aromatic herbs of choice
