In a roasting pan, sprinkle a layer of salt.
Place carrots on pan and cover them with salt. They should be completely buried in salt.
Roast in oven at 425°F for 90m.
Let it cool. Peel into slices.

1 | teaspoon | smoked paprika |
In a bowl or glass jar, add all marinade ingredients.
Add roasted carrot slices to marinade at room temperature for 1 day.
On the next day, place in the refrigerator for 2 more days.
