Celery with Peanuts

celery, Chinese preferred

½cup

peanuts, toasted

14cloves

garlic, minced

1tablespoon

Shaoxing wine

1tablespoon

soy sauce

teaspoon

white pepper

¼teaspoon

sugar

2teaspoons

oil

  1. Cut celery into 1 inch long pieces, stems and leaves, both.

  2. Blanch celery for 5 seconds

  3. stir fry garlic in oil for 10 seconds

  4. add blanched celery and stir fry one minute

  5. Add peanuts, Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, white pepper and sugar and stir fry another 30 seconds
