Scallion Pancakes 葱花饼

green onions, chopped with white ends cut off

dumpling wrappers

salt

vegetable oil

flour

  1. In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium high heat. Infuse vegetable oil with white ends of green onions.

  2. In a saucer, make a paste with vegetable oil and flour.

  3. Spread some paste to connect 3 dumpling wrappers per pancake.

  4. Add lots of green onions and roll lengthwise. Fold the roll into a spiral (like a cinnamon bun).

  5. Flatten with your palm. Pan fry with the green onion oil until golden.
