¼ | cup | vegan mayonnaise | ||
½ | cup | vegan refried beans, prepared | ||
1 | packet | Smoked Ham Deli Slices divided | ||
⅓ | cup | pickled jalapeño slices | ||
1 | small | avocado, pitted and sliced | ||
1 | small | tomato, sliced | ||
⅓ | cup | onion, diced | ||
4 | leaves | lettuce | ||
2 | tablespoons | vegetable oil |
Spread telera roll with vegan mayonnaise and vegan refried beans.
Place everything in the roll.
In a heavy (preferably cast iron) skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Place sandwiches in and weight them down with a second heavy skillet.
Cook until toasted (4 mins). Flip and repeat.
To serve, cut in half.
