Simple Baked Tofu |

2 | blocks | tofu, extra firm | ||
3 | tablespoons | tamari | ||
1 | teaspoon | onion granules | ||
1 | tablespoon | olive oil |
Preheat the oven to 375ºF/190ºC.
Arrange the tofu between two paper towels and extract the excess moisture. This will help with baking time. Cut each tofu block into 8 slices.
On a plate, arrange the tofu and cover with tamari. Spray a sheet pan with spray oil or use a parchment paper to line the pan. Sprinkle onion granules or other spices, if using. Place the blocks on the sheet pan and bake for 45-60 minutes. Turn halfway through the cooking time. Remove and let it cool.
