Simple Baked Tofu

tofu, extra firm

3tablespoons

tamari

1teaspoon

onion granules

1tablespoon

olive oil

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF/190ºC.

  2. Arrange the tofu between two paper towels and extract the excess moisture. This will help with baking time. Cut each tofu block into 8 slices.

  3. On a plate, arrange the tofu and cover with tamari. Spray a sheet pan with spray oil or use a parchment paper to line the pan. Sprinkle onion granules or other spices, if using. Place the blocks on the sheet pan and bake for 45-60 minutes. Turn halfway through the cooking time. Remove and let it cool.
